Dalea multiflora, often called Roundhead Prairie Clover, is a gorgeous perennial Dalea native to Texas and the Great Plains states that produces tons of white flower heads. It is a fantastic low-maintenance and drought tolerant plant that is perfect for dry areas in the garden or prairie pockets & prairie restoration projects. Its natural habitat is in dry rocky prairies, particularly in limestone soils. It is a conservative species and can be indicative of undisturbed prairie communities. Preferably plant in late fall or early Spring in well-draining soil, best in limestone-based soils.
