Penstemon tenuis, Gulf Coast Penstemon, is a superbly beautiful perennial flowering Penstemon native mostly to the Gulf Coast of Texas that produces loads of showy pink to purple flowers in a long blooming season. These blooms attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. This Penstemon is perfect for moist, part-shade perennial beds or borders where they can reseed freely. The flowering stalks make a great cut flower and they pair well with Yellow Columbine. Great for garden pathways or the front of native plant gardens Tolerates heat, wet soils, and poor drainage
