Salvia whitehousei is a very rare plant native to West Texas in arid environments. It is phenomenally attractive, very drought tolerant, and is loved by pollinators, especially moths. The leaves have a great minty scent when crushed. The flowers are many and range from white to lavender to pink and purples.
Perfect for arid climates, rock gardens, dry borders, or anywhere with high sunlight and well-draining soil. Prefers sandy, rocky, or gravelly soils.
