Golden Groundsel makes a perfect tough groundcover for the shady part of the garden, or even in full sun. Their upright, golden umbel flowers are a pollinator favorite to many native bees and butterflies. They spread by stolons and create a great semi-evergreen forest understory or sun garden groundcover.
In full sun they appreciate more moist, rich soil and in shade conditions they adapt very well to dry, limestone, or sandy soils. Use at the front of a shady border or open woodland planting.
