Hairy Rose Mallow is a native, cold hardy hibiscus with large 4-6" incredible blooms ranging from white to pale-pink colors. This hibiscus is native to Texas and the Southern US and occurs in swamps, pond edges, lowlands, and wetlands. The fuzzy leaves are soft to the touch due to tiny hairs across the leaf surface which also help mitigate heat and sun stress.

Like many hibiscus species it is occasionally visited by hummingbirds

A large plant for the rear of the perennial border, mixed border, native plant garden, patio area or courtyard. Also effective when grouped in moist locations such as along the edge of a pond or stream. Heat and full sun tolerant but keep soil moist in times of intense Summer drought
