Velvet-leaf Senna is a wonderful native shrubby plant native to dry soils. It features 1.5in wide orchid-like yellow pea flowers and amazingly soft velvet-like fuzzy leaves. It tolerates drought and partial to full sun.
It makes a great standalone specimen or for the backs of garden beds and yards.
