Pearl Milkweed Vine (Matelea reticulata) is a very unique and overlooked native vine from South-Central Tx through North-Central Tx. It is aptly named due to its pearl-like flower center, and the green veins on the flower petals are incredibly detailed; it is like no other flower.
It vines naturally up Juniper and other trees, soaking up the dappled shade filtering through the leaves and grows on dry Limestone soils in Texas.
